Contact
Email support@arcareader.app. Include your device model, iOS version, Arca build number, and what you expected to happen. Do not send payment information or passwords.
Restore Arca+
Open Arca, go to Profile, choose Arca+, then tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that originally purchased the subscription. Restore does not charge you again.
Manage or cancel a subscription
On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Apple manages billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds.
How is the feed personalized?
Arca ranks stories using recency plus on-device source and keyword signals from what you read, like, and dislike. Your reading profile does not leave your device.
Can I add an RSS feed?
Yes. Alongside the curated sources, you can add an RSS feed URL and it will appear in your feed and search like a built-in source.
Why does an article ask me to subscribe?
Some publishers place articles behind a paywall. Arca preserves the publisher’s page rather than bypassing it. A publisher subscription may be required to read the full article.
Can I read saved articles offline?
When a publisher includes complete article text in its RSS feed, Arca can keep that publisher-provided text on your device. Excerpts and publisher webpages require a connection.
Can I listen to podcasts offline?
Arca+ subscribers can download the audio file supplied in a podcast’s RSS feed. Downloaded episodes remain playable offline and can be removed individually or from Profile → Downloads.
Delete local data
Arca does not require or create a server account. Deleting the app removes bookmarks, history, streaks, preferences, cached articles, and downloaded podcast episodes stored locally.
